BE1806-13 2300KV Brushless Motor for RC Quadcopter and Multicopter - Lightweight High-KV 1806 Stator Motor for Mini FPV Racing and Freestyle Drone Builds on 2S and 3S LiPo
The BE1806-13 is a 2300KV brushless motor built on the 1806 stator platform, the higher-KV sibling of the BE1806-21 1400KV variant and designed for mini RC quadcopters and multicopters where higher motor RPM per volt, faster throttle response, and more aggressive power delivery are the priority over the efficiency-oriented low-KV characteristics of the 1400KV variant. The 1806 stator designation indicates an 18mm stator diameter and 6mm stator height, a compact stator geometry that delivers sufficient thrust and torque for responsive mini quadcopter and multicopter flight in the sub-250g and 3-inch to 4-inch propeller class while maintaining the low motor weight and compact dimensions that define the mini FPV drone platform's agility and portability advantages over larger 5-inch and 6-inch frame builds. The 2300KV rating extends the motor's optimal operating range toward 2S LiPo and lower-cell-count power systems compared to the 1400KV variant, while also providing higher RPM headroom on 3S LiPo for pilots who prefer a more responsive, higher-revving power characteristic on 3-inch propellers in racing and aggressive freestyle flight profiles.
The 13-turn winding count designation in the BE1806-13 model number reflects the lower turn count that produces the 2300KV output relative to the higher 21-turn count of the 1400KV BE1806-21 variant, with fewer winding turns per pole producing higher KV and lower per-unit winding resistance, which increases peak RPM and reduces motor resistance-related heat at high current draw in exchange for slightly reduced torque per ampere compared to the higher-turn lower-KV winding. This characteristic makes the BE1806-13 well-suited to the higher-throttle, faster-spinning flight profiles of mini FPV racing where sustained high-RPM motor operation is the norm, and to aggressive freestyle manoeuvres where snap throttle response and high motor RPM ceiling are prioritised over mid-throttle efficiency. The lightweight, low-noise construction maintains the stable, vibration-minimised running characteristics of the 1806 motor platform for clean flight controller IMU input and reduced FPV camera vibration transmission, and the standard motor mounting configuration allows direct replacement of compatible 1806 format motors on mini quadcopter and multicopter arms without frame modification.
