BE1806-21 1400KV Brushless Motor for RC Quadcopter and Multicopter - Lightweight Low-Noise 1806 Stator Motor for Mini and Micro FPV Drone Builds
The BE1806-21 is a 1400KV brushless motor built on the 1806 stator platform, designed for mini and micro RC quadcopters and multicopters where the 1806 stator format provides the appropriate balance of thrust output, motor weight, and physical dimensions for sub-250g and lightweight FPV drone builds in the 3-inch to 4-inch propeller class. The 1806 stator designation indicates an 18mm stator diameter and 6mm stator height, a compact stator geometry that delivers the thrust and torque required for stable, responsive quadcopter and multicopter flight in the mini frame class while keeping motor weight and rotational inertia low enough for the agile, fast-responding flight characteristics that define the mini FPV drone flying experience. The 1400KV rating is suited to 3S LiPo operation in the 1806 motor class, providing a no-load RPM per volt characteristic that generates practical thrust levels on 3-inch to 4-inch propeller diameters at 3S voltage without over-spinning small propellers or drawing excessive current at full throttle on the battery and ESC combination typical of mini quadcopter builds.
The lightweight and portable motor construction keeps all-up weight within the tight weight budget of sub-250g mini quadcopter frames where every gram of motor weight is multiplied across the 4-motor set and directly affects hover throttle percentage, flight time, and agility. Stable and low-noise running performance - a product of the 1806 stator geometry, balanced rotor, and winding quality - contributes to clean vibration-free video output in FPV camera builds where motor vibration transmitted through the frame to the camera mount degrades image quality, and reduces the vibrational noise input to the flight controller IMU that increases filtering requirements and can degrade attitude control responsiveness in Betaflight and equivalent flight controller firmware. The motor is straightforward to replace on damaged multicopter arms, with the standard motor mounting bolt pattern and connector configuration allowing a direct motor swap without frame modification or custom adapter hardware in compatible mini quadcopter frame builds.
