UPS HAT For Raspberry Pi 4B 3B Plus And 3B With Intelligent Battery Management
The UPS HAT for Raspberry Pi 4B, Raspberry Pi 3B+, and Raspberry Pi 3B is an uninterruptible power supply expansion board designed to provide reliable backup power and safe shutdown protection for Raspberry Pi systems. When the primary power source is interrupted, the UPS HAT continues supplying stable power, allowing the Raspberry Pi to complete critical operations and perform a controlled shutdown. This helps prevent file system corruption, data loss, and hardware damage caused by sudden power failures.
Built with a MAX17043 fuel gauge and an onboard microcontroller, the UPS HAT provides accurate battery capacity and voltage monitoring through I2C communication. Raspberry Pi can directly access battery information for intelligent power management applications. Five onboard status LEDs visually indicate battery capacity without requiring software configuration. Featuring an advanced power management design with over 90% conversion efficiency and a non-diode power path architecture, the HAT maintains low operating temperatures and stable performance even during continuous high-load operation.
