The TPS62175DQCR is a compact, high-efficiency synchronous step-down DC/DC converter designed for power-sensitive and space-constrained applications. Based on DCS-Control topology, this device delivers fast transient response, excellent output voltage regulation, and stable operation across the entire load range. With a wide input voltage range of 4.75V to 28V, it is ideal for systems powered by multi-cell Li-Ion batteries, 12V rails, or higher intermediate supply sources. Capable of providing up to 500mA continuous output current, the TPS62175DQCR ensures reliable performance in industrial, communication, and embedded systems.

The converter features automatic Power Save Mode (PSM) at light loads to maintain high efficiency and a sleep mode for ultra-low-power applications such as microcontrollers with deep-sleep operation. In sleep mode, the typical quiescent current drops to 4.8µA, improving light-load efficiency by up to 20%. It also includes a Power Good (PG) output for power sequencing and monitoring, and an active output discharge function during shutdown for predictable system behavior. With an ultra-low shutdown current (<2uA), it supports efficient standby operation. Packaged in a compact 2mmx3mm 10-WSON package, the TPS62175DQCR offers excellent thermal performance, optimized pinout for easy PCB layout, and superior power conversion efficiency for modern, low-power electronic designs.
