Designed for USB and adapter-powered applications, it provides a fixed 4.2 V float voltage with +-1% accuracy, ensuring safe and reliable charging for Li-ion cells. Its ESOP-8 surface-mount package and minimal external component requirement make it suitable for compact and cost-sensitive designs.
This charger IC integrates an internal PMOS power transistor, eliminating the need for an external MOSFET, current-sense resistor, or blocking diode.
