The SparkFun Qwiic 5V Boost – AP3012K is a compact power and logic-level solution designed to bridge the gap between the 3.3V Qwiic ecosystem and 5V I2C peripherals. It takes 3.3V power and I2C signals directly from the Qwiic connectors and boosts the supply to a stable 5V output, while also translating I2C logic levels for reliable communication. This makes it ideal for powering and interfacing 5V devices such as RGB LEDs, DC fans, and peripherals commonly used with SPS30, SEN54, and SEN55 air quality and particulate matter sensors.

Built around the AP3012K boost converter, this board offers flexible configuration through onboard jumpers, allowing users to select pull-up locations and logic levels for PTH pins. Dual Qwiic connectors enable daisy-chaining within existing I2C networks, while clearly labelled through-hole pins provide easy access to boosted power, control, and signal lines for custom integrations and prototyping.
