Description

With 2MB of PSRAM, the SparkFun ESP32 Qwiic Pro Mini incorporates the potent ESP32-PICO-MINI-N8R2 from Espressif on a small Pro Mini footprint. This board is a powerhouse in a tiny little package, featuring two independently controllable CPU cores, an adjustable CPU clock frequency, a co-processor that can be used in scenarios requiring minimal computing power, and a rich array of peripherals like an external SD card interface, capacitive touch sensors, ADC, DAC, Two-Wire Automotive Interface, to Ethernet, high-speed SPI, UART, I S, and I²C. The best part is that you can connect this Pro Mini to the rest of your system without ever having to solder thanks to our convenient Qwiic system.

A wide range of applications can be targeted thanks to the integration of Bluetooth (specifically, Bluetooth SPP), Bluetooth LE, and WiFi. While Bluetooth allows the user to conveniently connect to their phone or broadcast low-energy beacons for detection, WiFi allows for a direct connection to the Internet over a large physical range through a WiFi router. The ESP32 chip is appropriate for wearable electronics and battery-powered applications because its sleep current is less than 5μA. To guarantee the greatest physical range, the module supports a data rate of up to 150Mbps and an output power of 20dBm at the antenna.
