Description

This SHIELD-MD10 Dual H-Bridge DC Motor Driver Module provides bi-directional control for one brushed DC motor. It supports motor voltage ranges from 7V to 25V (Rev1.0) or 7V to 30V (Rev2.0) and can handle a maximum current of up to 10A continuously, with a peak current of 15A for up to 10 seconds. The module accepts both 3.3V and 5V logic level inputs.

The use of solid-state components ensures a faster response time and eliminates the wear and tear associated with mechanical relays. The fully NMOS H-Bridge design not only provides better efficiency but also eliminates the need for a heat sink. Regenerative braking is supported, enhancing motor control capabilities.

The speed control PWM frequency can reach up to 10KHz, allowing precise speed adjustments. The module features a stackable I/O header pin, making it convenient for use in various projects. Additionally, it offers selectable digital pins for PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) and DIR (Direction) control.
