The Seeedstudio Serial CAN-BUS Module, based on the MCP2551 and MCP2515, enables Arduino and other microcontroller platforms to communicate over CAN-BUS networks for industrial automation, automotive diagnostics, robotics, and embedded-system applications. Designed for reliable long-distance communication, this module supports high-speed CAN-BUS data transfer up to 1 Mb/s and UART communication up to 115200 baud. It is well-suited for vehicle communication projects, OBD-II development, industrial control systems, and distributed embedded networks.

Built around the MCP2551 CAN transceiver and MCP2515 CAN controller, this module simplifies CAN-BUS integration through AT command support and an easy-to-use Arduino library. The onboard Grove connector enables quick plug-and-play connectivity with Arduino and compatible development boards. Additional features, including TX and RX LED indicators, screw-terminal CAN connections, and an integrated 120 Ohm termination resistor, improve usability and simplify rapid prototyping for CAN-based communication systems.
