Description
The ILX3232 is a low-power, high-speed communication interface that meets the standards of EIA/TIA-232 and V.28/V.24. It is powered by a 3.3V supply and has a proprietary low dropout transmitter output stage that delivers genuine RS-232 performance even when supplied with voltage between 3.3V and 5.5V. The device requires only four small 0.1uF external capacitors to operate from a 3.3V supply.
The ILX3232 features two receivers and two drivers. It is capable of functioning at data rates of up to 120Kbps while maintaining RS-232 output levels, and is guaranteed to perform at these rates.
