The Radxa SATA HAT Top Board is an accessory designed to enhance the functionality of the Radxa Penta SATA HAT, transforming it into a complete NAS (Network Attached Storage) solution. It connects via a dedicated 2×5 header interface and adds a compact 0.91-inch OLED display along with an integrated cooling fan. The OLED screen provides real-time system information such as IP address, storage status, and system metrics, improving monitoring and usability in headless or server environments.
Built for performance and thermal management, the onboard PWM-controlled fan helps maintain optimal operating temperatures for connected drives and the SBC, ensuring long-term reliability in continuous-use applications. The board works in conjunction with Radxa ROCK series SBCs and the Penta SATA HAT to deliver a scalable storage platform supporting multiple HDDs/SSDs. With dedicated software support, users can configure display behaviour, fan speed profiles, and system controls, making it a practical addition for NAS builds, home servers, and edge storage systems.
