UC20 is an embedded UMTS/GSM wireless communication module. Its UMTS-based modem provides data connectivity on HSPA+, HSDPA, HSUPA, WCDMA, EDGE and GPRS networks. It can also provide GPS/GLONASS and voice functionality for customers’ specific applications. The module offers a maximum data rate of 14.4Mbps on downlink and 5.76Mbps on uplink in HSPA+/HSPA modes. It also supports GPRS/EDGE multi-slot class 12. GPRS supports the coding schemes of CS-1, CS-2, CS-3 and CS-4. EDGE supports CS 1-4 and MCS 1-9 coding schemes.
