The AMASS XT90 Large-Current High-Load Power On-Off Toggle Switch is a dedicated battery isolation and power management switch designed for RC aircraft, cars, boats, drones, and ESC-driven motor systems where a reliable, high-current-rated mechanical switch is required to safely connect and disconnect the main battery from the power distribution system without pulling or disturbing the battery connector itself. Built around the industry-standard AMASS XT90 connector format on both the battery and load sides, this toggle switch integrates directly into existing XT90-terminated power harnesses without requiring connector replacement or adapter leads, making it a straightforward add-on for RC builders looking to improve battery management safety and convenience on platforms already using XT90 connectors throughout the power system. The switch is rated at 15A at 250VAC, providing a robust current-handling specification for the high-load motor and ESC circuits typical of RC drone, car, boat, and aircraft power systems, where inrush and sustained operating currents regularly stress lower-rated switch alternatives.
The 12mm panel-mount screw hole diameter allows the toggle switch body to be mounted cleanly through a standard 12mm chassis or fuselage panel cutout, presenting the toggle actuator externally for convenient one-handed operation while keeping the XT90 connector terminations and cable runs on the interior side of the enclosure or frame. The total cable length of approximately 35cm across both sides of the switch provides sufficient routing flexibility for installation in most RC aircraft fuselages, car chassis, and drone frames where the battery compartment and ESC or power distribution board are separated by a meaningful distance within the airframe or chassis structure.
