The USB to RS485 module is designed for use in industrial settings and is capable of providing a DC voltage output of up to 36V. It has built-in 15KV ESD protection and a maximum of 600W lightning surge protection to protect against electrical disruptions. To provide over-current and over-voltage protection, it uses a self-recovery fuse in combination with a TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) protection circuit. These protective measures help to extend the service life of the module and ensure reliable performance.
Featuring plug-and-play and hot-swappable, the USB to RS485 module has onboard indicators for visually displaying Rx/Tx communication status. It offers adaptive data communication rate from 300 to 921.6kbps.
