Description

The DFRobot Relay Module is a standard relay designed for establishing connections between external circuits or modules and controller boards. Widely used with Arduino, it finds applications in home lighting, high-power appliances, and various devices. Its modular design facilitates seamless integration with controller boards, ensuring user-friendly operation. The module features a status LED for visual indication of activation or deactivation. Control is achieved through the digital IO port using a simple HIGH or LOW on Arduino compatible boards, or boards with matching voltage levels. Additionally, it's suitable for managing electromagnetic valves, lighting fixtures, motors, and other high-current or high-voltage equipment.

If using the relay coil with 3.3V controllers like ESP32 and Raspberry Pi Pico, consider exploring a relay that supports 3.3V operation.

Relays are typically employed for low-frequency switching applications, such as controlling solenoid valves or lighting fixtures. For applications requiring brightness adjustment or speed regulation using PWM, the Gravity: MOSFET Power Controller is recommended. This MOSFET controller supports loads within the voltage range using a PWM signal with a frequency of 1kHz. Note that it does not support AC voltage and cannot isolate high voltages exceeding 30V.

Feature
  • Voltage Compatibility: Arduino Compatible, 3.3V controllers
  • Control Method: Digital IO port (HIGH/LOW)
  • Applications: Home lighting, high-power appliances, electromagnetic valves, motors
  • Additional Recommendation: For PWM-based brightness adjustment or speed regulation, consider Gravity: MOSFET Power Controller (Does not support AC voltage; PWM signal frequency: 1kHz; Voltage range control).
