Description

Precision CCT & Ambient Light Sensor for Accurate Lighting Analysis: Ideal for photography, colour grading, lighting calibration, and environmental sensing.

Gravity: Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) & ALS Meter is a high-performance light detecting gadget built exclusively for professional videographers and photographers. It gives precise measurements of associated color temperature and illuminance intensity when calibrated correctly. It has an illuminance measurement range of 10-10000 Lux with an error margin of ±5 Lux + ±10% Lux and a linked color temperature measurement range of 2700-6500K with an error margin of ±10% K, ensuring ideal lighting for every shoot. The sensor may be operated using an Arduino UNO development board, and the final correlated color temperature, illuminance, and X, Y color coordinate data can be retrieved by following the wiring schematic and sample code included in the tutorial.

Photographers can utilize the sensor to assess linked color temperature and illuminance in the environment. It guarantees that the lighting matches the intended color temperature and brightness, producing precise and professional photographs and films. During post-production, photographers use the sensor's exact data to alter image color temperature and brightness, ensuring a consistent visual style and optimizing picture quality.

Correlated Color Temperature Precise Measurement

Correlated color temperature (CCT) is an important component of lighting that is measured in Kelvin. It describes a light source's color properties using blackbody radiation theory. This sensor translates ambient light into conventional physical quantities, correctly expressing light temperature at various times of day and weather conditions. This sensor enables exact illumination calibration, whether it captures the bright hues of a sunset (2000K-3000K) or the chilly tones of a gloomy day (5000K and above).

Illuminance Intensity Precise Measurement

Illuminance intensity is a measurement of a light source's brightness in lux (Lux), reflecting the light flux on a unit area. This is critical for getting the correct brightness level in photography and filming. The sensor delivers precise illuminance readings, enabling for the production of ideal lighting configurations, whether working in a brightly illuminated outdoor area or a darkly lit indoor studio.

Compact and Efficient Design, only 26mm×24mm

The sensor's modest size of 26mm×24mm makes it ideal for installation in small places. It works efficiently, with a working voltage range of 3.3-5V DC and a low current consumption of 2.8mA, making it excellent for power-sensitive applications.
