The FireBeetle 2 ESP32-P4 AI Vision Board is a compact, high-performance development platform designed for edge AI, multimedia processing, and interactive embedded applications. Powered by a 360MHz dual-core RISC-V processor, it delivers strong computing capability for real-time vision and AI workloads. Native MIPI CSI and DSI interfaces enable direct connection to high-resolution cameras and displays, simplifying the development of advanced video and GUI-based systems. High-Performance AI Core
The board's core is a 360MHz dual-core RISC-V processor with AI instruction extensions and single-precision FPU. This enables the direct deployment of lightweight models like TensorFlow Lite for applications like facial recognition, object detection, and voice-based AI assistants by providing the horsepower required for difficult machine learning tasks.
Native Multimedia Powerhouse
The board excels at multimedia processing due to its native MIPI-CSI and MIPI-DSI interfaces, which enable direct connection of high-resolution cameras and screens, eliminating the need for complex adaptor boards. It can handle video streams up to 1080p efficiently thanks to inbuilt hardware accelerators for H.264 and JPEG encoding, making it ideal for AI cameras and interactive GUIs. Furthermore, the interfaces are pin-compatible with Raspberry Pi peripherals, which considerably simplifies component sourcing.
Highly Integrated, Compact Design
Beyond its processing capability, the FireBeetle 2's value stems from its clever integration within a small 25.4 x 60mm size. It includes a PDM digital microphone for voice-activated applications and a TF card slot for extensive local data storage. This high level of integration eliminates the need for additional modules, simplifies overall product design, and is suitable for developing tiny, space-constrained devices.

The FireBeetle 2 supports the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard thanks to its inbuilt ESP32-C6 coprocessor. This is supplemented by reliable Bluetooth 5 (LE) for flexible peripheral communication.

Compatibility Notice: This board features the ESP32-P4 chip (v1.0) running at 360MHz. You can use it with both Arduino IDE and ESP-IDF. Please note that two specific advanced features, MIPI-CSI and AI functions, currently require ESP-IDF. All other functions are fully compatible with the Arduino IDE.
