Multi-Sensor Environmental Monitoring Breakout With Temperature, Humidity, Pressure, Light, and UV Measurement
The Fermion Environmental Sensor Breakout is a comprehensive environmental monitoring module that integrates four professional-grade sensors into a single compact board. It combines the SHTC3 temperature and humidity sensor, BMP280 barometric pressure sensor, VEML7700 ambient light sensor, and ML8511 UV sensor to provide five critical environmental parameters. Designed for indoor and outdoor monitoring applications, this all-in-one solution simplifies environmental data collection while maintaining high measurement accuracy.
An onboard microcontroller processes raw sensor data and directly outputs measurements in standard engineering units, eliminating the need for complex calculations by the host system. Temperature readings are available in C and F, humidity in %, pressure in kPa, ambient light in lux, and UV intensity in mW/m². Supporting both UART and I2C communication interfaces, the module integrates easily with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, and other development platforms. Its compact design, combined with comprehensive software support, makes it ideal for environmental monitoring projects, weather stations, smart agriculture, and IoT applications.
