The ESP32-WROVER-IE-N8R8 is a high-performance wireless module designed for IoT devices, industrial automation, robotics, smart-home systems, data loggers, cameras, and connected embedded applications. It integrates an Xtensa dual-core 32-bit LX6 processor operating at up to 240 MHz, along with 520 KB SRAM, 448 KB ROM, and 16 KB RTC SRAM. The N8R8 configuration provides 8 MB Quad SPI flash and 8 MB Quad SPI PSRAM, providing additional memory for applications involving networking, graphics, audio processing, and larger data buffers.

The module supports 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi with data rates up to 150 Mbps and Bluetooth 4.2 BR/EDR plus Bluetooth Low Energy. Unlike the ESP32-WROVER-E version with an onboard PCB antenna, the ESP32-WROVER-IE uses an external antenna connector, allowing antenna selection and placement to suit the enclosure and RF requirements. A broad selection of interfaces including UART, SPI, SDIO, I2C, I2S, ADC, DAC, PWM, capacitive touch, pulse counter, and TWAI supports flexible embedded-system integration.
