200 MHz General-Purpose 1:4 Clock Buffer IC for PCI-X and High-Speed Digital Systems

The CDCV304PWR is a high-performance general-purpose clock buffer IC designed to distribute a single clock input to four low-skew outputs with excellent signal integrity. Supporting clock frequencies from 0 MHz to 200 MHz, this device is well suited for PCI-X compliant systems, embedded processors, communication hardware, and high-speed digital designs that require precise clock fan-out.

Built for reliability, the CDCV304PWR operates from a single 2.5 V or 3.3 V supply and features very low output skew (<100 ps) to ensure tight timing margins across multiple clock domains. An Output Enable (OE) pin allows controlled shutdown of all outputs, forcing them low for power management or system control. Packaged in a compact 8-pin TSSOP, it integrates cleanly into space-constrained PCBs used in industrial, automotive, and networking applications.

Key Features

  • 1:4 clock buffer architecture: Distributes one clock input to four buffered outputs
  • Wide operating frequency: Supports 0 MHz to 200 MHz clock signals
  • Low output skew: Less than 100 ps for accurate timing alignment
  • Dual-voltage operation: Compatible with 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic systems
  • Output enable control: OE pin drives all outputs low when disabled
  • PCI-X compliant: Designed to meet PCI-X clock distribution requirements
  • Compact SMD package: 8-pin TSSOP for high-density PCB layouts
  • Wide temperature range: Suitable for industrial and automotive environments
