APM 2.5, 2.6, and 2.8 Pixhawk Power Module 28V 90A with 5.3V BEC - Available with T-Plug (Deans) or XT60 Connector for RC Drone, Multirotor, and Fixed-Wing Flight Controller Power and Telemetry
The APM Pixhawk Power Module is a compact power distribution and monitoring module designed to provide clean, regulated 5.3V power to APM 2.5, APM 2.6, APM 2.8, and Pixhawk flight controllers from a LiPo battery source up to 6S (28V), while simultaneously delivering real-time battery voltage and current consumption data to the flight controller over a 6-pin DF13 cable. Available in 2 connector variants - T-plug (Deans) and XT60 - the module integrates directly into the main battery power harness between the LiPo battery and the power distribution board or ESC bus, providing both the 5.3V regulated BEC output for the flight controller rail and the analogue voltage and current sensing signals scaled to the 5V ADC input range of APM and Pixhawk autopilot hardware. The onboard switching regulator delivers 5.3V at up to 2.25A - 3A depending on variant - providing sufficient regulated current for the flight controller, GPS module, telemetry radio, and RC receiver without requiring a separate BEC module in most standard multirotor and fixed-wing builds.
The 90A maximum current sensing range covers the full motor and ESC current draw of the majority of multirotor and fixed-wing RC platforms from small 3-inch FPV quads through to large hex and octocopter builds, delivering accurate consumption data to the APM or Pixhawk flight controller for battery capacity monitoring, mAh consumed tracking, and low-battery failsafe triggering via Mission Planner or compatible GCS software. Real-time voltage and current telemetry from the power module feeds directly into OSD units in FPV builds, providing live battery state data on the FPV video feed without requiring a separate voltage sensor or current sensor module. The 6-position DF13 cable plugs directly into the PM connector on APM 2.5, APM 2.6, and APM 2.8 hardware for immediate out-of-the-box installation without additional wiring or connector adaptation. The module is designed exclusively for powering the flight controller, GPS, telemetry radio, and RC receiver - servo power must be supplied separately through the aircraft's ESC BEC output, as the power module is not rated for servo current demands.
