The aluminum alloy heat sink is a device that is designed to dissipate heat away from electronic components, specifically the LattePanda 2 Alpha and 2 Delta Edition motherboard. The heat sink is made of aluminum alloy, which has good thermal conductivity and is able to effectively dissipate heat away from the components. The heat sink is designed to protect the motherboard while still allowing access to all of the peripheral interfaces and GPIO connections, giving the user the ability to customize and modify the device as needed. To enhance its heat dissipation capabilities, the heat sink can be used in conjunction with high-quality silicone grease and a copper heatsink. This can help keep the electronic components of the LattePanda cool and functioning properly.
Four external fan holes are reserved on the housing, so you can conveniently add a fan on it, such as 4010, and 4012 fans. (Recommended Fan Dimension: 40 x 40mm with 32 +-0.3mm hole, M3 screws)
- Please remove the pre-installed cooling fan on LattePanda Alpha or Delta when using the Aluminum Alloy Case.
- For your safety, please DO NOT touch the case directly during use to prevent burns.
- It is normal that the copper heatsink goes black after being used for a long time; Those who mind can polish it with sandpaper.
