ESP32-C6-DevKitC-1-N8 with 8MB SPI Flash – Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, Zigbee, and Thread Development Board
The ESP32-C6-DevKitC-1-N8 is an entry-level development board powered by the ESP32-C6-WROOM-1 module, designed for cutting-edge wireless IoT applications. Built around a 32-bit RISC-V single-core CPU running at up to 160 MHz, it integrates Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5 (LE), Zigbee 3.0, and Thread (802.15.4), making it a versatile choice for multi-protocol connectivity and low-power IoT systems. This version comes with 8MB SPI Flash, providing sufficient storage for advanced projects.
The board offers full GPIO access with most I/O pins broken out to headers, allowing developers to easily prototype using jumper wires or a breadboard. It includes both a USB-to-UART interface for programming/debugging and a native USB Type-C port for USB OTG communication, enabling simultaneous upload, debug, and USB tasks. While Arduino and CircuitPython support is not yet available, developers can fully leverage the ESP-IDF framework for professional development.
