The Gemfan VORTEX 7X9X3E / 7X9X3R is a 7-inch 3-blade electric propeller designed for high-speed UAV and performance-focused drone applications. With a 177.8 mm diameter and aggressive 9-inch pitch, it is engineered to provide strong forward propulsion at high RPM. The propeller is manufactured from glass-fiber-reinforced nylon for improved stiffness and resistance to blade deformation during demanding flight conditions.
The VORTEX blade profile is developed using CFD-based aerodynamic optimisation and incorporates a frosted leading edge, streamlined blade geometry and ultra-thin tips to improve airflow efficiency while reducing vortex losses and noise. An anti-skid hub texture supports secure mounting, while factory dynamic balancing helps minimise vibration during operation. The propeller features a 5 mm centre hole, weighs approximately 11.6 g and is recommended for compatible 3210 motors.
