The 7Semi LM73100 Ideal Diode Protection Module is a compact and high-efficiency power protection solution designed to safeguard electronic systems from reverse current, reverse polarity, undervoltage, and overvoltage conditions. Built around the Texas Instruments LM73100 ideal diode controller, the module supports input voltages from 3.3 V to 20 V and continuous load currents up to 5 A. Unlike conventional diode-based protection circuits, it delivers significantly lower power loss and improved efficiency, making it ideal for battery-powered and high-current applications.

The module automatically permits forward current flow while preventing reverse current from flowing back into the power source, ensuring reliable operation in power multiplexing, battery backup, and power OR-ing circuits. Integrated adjustable undervoltage lockout (UVLO), overvoltage lockout (OVLO), Power Good status output, and analog current monitoring through the IMON pin provide enhanced protection and system diagnostics.
