Description

This breakout PCB for LGA16 QFN16, or alternatively an adapter PCB, can expedite and simplify prototyping. Its design features a DIP adapter for both sides of the PCB, accommodating QFN-16 and LGA16 types of SMD packages. Various QFN types can be utilized with this board, including QFN, QFN-TEP, DQFN, TQFN, VQFN, HUQFN, HVQFN, HWQFN, HXQFN, and XQFN. The board's pins are exposed and connected to two rows of 0.1" spaced holes, allowing compatibility with breadboards. Additionally, the pin spacing is designed to be breadboard-friendly, and the pins are clearly labeled and easily recognizable, including the identification of Pin 1.

The breakout PCB solves this problem by providing an interface that converts the SMD package to a DIP package, which is much easier to use with standard prototyping tools. The pins of the SMD package are brought out to the surface of the breakout board, with traces leading to two rows of 0.1" spaced holes.
