Description
This 800x480 High Resolution Touch Screen Display is designed for use with Raspberry Pi. It features Resistive Touch Control and IPS technology, providing a high-quality display from a very wide viewing angle. The touch screen display is compatible with any revision of Raspberry Pi (except the Pi 1 model B or Pi Zero, which requires an HDMI cable). The drivers are provided, and it works with your own Raspbian/Ubuntu directly. When used as a computer monitor, the touch panel is unavailable, and an HDMI cable is required. The HDMI interface allows for displaying without any I/Os required, but the touch panel still requires I/Os. The backlight can be turned off to lower power consumption, making it an energy-efficient option.
