Work Mode
TCP Server
The USR-TCP232-304 RS485 to Ethernet converters are designed to monitor the designated port and wait for a TCP client connection. Once connected, all data received from the serial device will be efficiently transmitted to all successfully-connected TCP clients through the USR-TCP232-304, ensuring seamless communication and uninterrupted connectivity.
TCP Client
The USR-TCP232-304 RS485 to Ethernet converters are programmed to initiate a TCP connection to the user-configured destination IP address. If the connection is unsuccessful, the USR-TCP232-304 will continuously attempt to reconnect until the connection is successfully established. Once connected, the USR-TCP232-304 facilitates bidirectional data transmission between the TCP Server and the serial device in a transparent and seamless manner, ensuring efficient and uninterrupted data transfer.
UDP Mode
The USR-TCP232-304 RS485 to Ethernet converters are designed to transmit serial data from the serial device to the target network device using a UDP connection. The USR-TCP232-304 will listen to the designated port and efficiently transmit all received data to the serial device, ensuring seamless and uninterrupted data transfer.
httpsD Client
The USR-TCP232-304 RS485 to Ethernet converters are equipped with support for HTTPS client mode, enabling the transmission of serial data to the HTTPS server in HTTPS format using GET/POST methods.
Virtual Com Software
Powerful Virtual Serial Software USR-VCOM
Synchronous Baud Rate
Dynamically change baud rate, data bit, check bit and stop bit of USR-TCP232-304 via network command.
Identity Packet Function
When operating as a TCP client, the USR-TCP232-304 RS485 to Ethernet converter is capable of sending an identity packet to the TCP server, which serves as an identification mechanism. This identity packet may include the IMEI code, ICCID code, or a user-defined and editable identity packet.
Serial & Network Heartbeat Packet
The USR-TCP232-304 RS485 to Ethernet converters ensure a stable and uninterrupted connection with the server by regularly transmitting heartbeat packets.
USR Cloud
Independently developed an IoT cloud platform, and the USR-TCP232-304 RS485 to Ethernet converters are fully compatible and supported by the USR Cloud platform.
Applications
Unattended Weighing
By connecting the USR-TCP232-304 to a barrier gate, it is possible to remotely control the barrier gate through Ethernet from a control center.
Access Control System
Traffic Lights Management System
By connecting the RS485 to Ethernet converter USR-TCP232-304, it becomes possible to acquire and process traffic data through Ethernet from a control center. This allows for accurate quantitative analysis and management of traffic dispatch, as well as urban transport planning. Furthermore, the device enables optimal control of transportation-related issues, such as traffic jams, accidents, and capacity, from a regional or global perspective.
