Side View SMD White LED Wide Viewing Angle Backlight LED for LCD and Indicators
The 99-218GLM2C/L7277SGU/TR8-T is a side-view SMD white LED designed for uniform illumination in compact electronic assemblies. Its side-emitting architecture delivers a wide 120 viewing angle, making it highly suitable for light-guide and edge-backlight designs where even light distribution is essential. The white output is achieved using an InGaN blue chip with a specialised phosphor, providing stable colour and low power consumption at standard operating currents.
This SMD LED is supplied in tape-and-reel packaging for automated pick-and-place assembly and is compatible with IR reflow soldering processes. With a forward current rating of 20 mA and low thermal load, it is widely used in LCD backlighting, mobile devices, switch indicators, and general illumination applications where space efficiency and reliability are required. The device is Pb-free, RoHS compliant, REACH compliant, and suitable for high-volume industrial production.
