Description

The TUSB211A is a third-generation USB 2.0 high-speed signal conditioner that compensates for both AC (capacitive load) and DC (resistive loss) in the transmission channel. The TUSB211A uses a patented design to accelerate the transition edges of a USB 2.0 high-speed signal with an edge booster and raise static levels with a DC boost feature. In addition, the TUSB211A has a pre-equalization function to correct for inter-symbol interference (ISI) jitter in applications with longer cable lengths. The TUSB211A has no effect on the USB low-speed or full-speed signal characteristics. The TUSB211A increases signal quality without changing packet timing or increasing propagation delay or latency. A system can pass the USB 2.0 high-speed near end eye compliance with a cable up to five meters long thanks to the TUSB211A. The TUSB211A supports both the Battery Charging (BC) and USB On-The-Go (OTG) protocols.
