The TPS62932DRLR is a compact, high-efficiency 2A synchronous buck converter designed for wide input voltage applications and excellent performance in space-constrained systems. Supporting an input range of 3.8V to 30V and an adjustable output voltage range of 0.8V to 22V, this regulator delivers reliable and efficient DC-DC conversion for industrial, automotive, and portable applications. Using fixed-frequency peak current control, the TPS62932 ensures fast transient response, accurate line and load regulation, and simplified design through optimized internal loop compensation, which eliminates the need for external components. For enhanced efficiency under light loads, it operates in pulse frequency modulation (PFM) mode, reducing power loss and extending battery life. The ULQ (ultra-low quiescent) feature further improves efficiency in low-power systems.

With a configurable switching frequency range of 200 kHz to 2.2 MHz via the RT pin, the device allows designers to optimize efficiency, noise performance, and solution size. It also supports external soft-start control for controlled inrush current and startup behavior. The frequency spread spectrum technology effectively reduces EMI emissions, ensuring compliance with noise-sensitive environments.
