The TPS565201DDCR is a 5A synchronous step-down DC/DC converter from Texas Instruments, designed for efficient power conversion in compact electronic systems. Operating from a 4.5V to 17V input range, it delivers a 0.76V to 7V adjustable output, suitable for 5V, 3.3V, and 1.8V rails commonly used in digital electronics.

The device employs D-CAP2 mode control for fast transient response, eliminating the need for external compensation components. With integrated 31mΩ (high-side) and 16mΩ (low-side) FETs, the converter achieves efficiency up to 95%. Its Eco-mode pulse-skipping maintains high efficiency during light loads, while built-in protections—such as overcurrent, thermal shutdown, and UVLO—ensure reliability under all operating conditions.
