The TPS563208DDCR from Texas Instruments is a 3A synchronous step-down converter optimised for compact, high-efficiency power supplies. It operates from a 4.5V to 17V input voltage range and provides an adjustable output voltage from 0.76V to 7V, suitable for powering digital ICs and system power rails.

Using D-CAP2 control topology, the device offers fast transient response and excellent performance with low-ESR ceramic capacitors, eliminating the need for external compensation. It features Eco-mode™ light-load operation, maintaining high efficiency across all load conditions, and integrates 30mΩ/15mΩ MOSFETs for low conduction loss and compact PCB layout.
