TPS54332DDAR – High-Efficiency 3.5A Buck Switching Regulator IC

The TPS54332DDAR is a high-performance 28V, 3.5A non-synchronous buck converter designed for efficient power management and compact design integration. This device features an integrated low-RDS(on) high-side MOSFET that ensures superior switching efficiency and minimized conduction losses. The TPS54332 automatically enters pulse-skipping Eco-mode at light loads, significantly improving efficiency for battery-powered and energy-conscious applications. With only 1μA shutdown current, it supports ultra-low power consumption in standby mode. Its current mode control with internal slope compensation simplifies design, minimizes external components, and enables the use of ceramic output capacitors for compact, cost-effective solutions. Built-in protection features such as overvoltage transient protection, cycle-by-cycle current limit, frequency foldback, and thermal shutdown ensure robust performance under varying load and fault conditions. Housed in a compact 8-pin SOIC PowerPAD package, the TPS54332DDAR is ideal for applications requiring efficient step-down DC-DC conversion in industrial, automotive, and consumer electronics.
