TP4055 500mA Linear Lithium-Ion Battery Charger IC with Reverse Battery Protection
The TP4055 from NanJing Top Power ASIC Corp. is a compact single-cell lithium-ion battery charger IC designed for safe and efficient charging in portable electronics. It uses a constant-current / constant-voltage (CC/CV) charging algorithm with a preset 4.2 V float voltage (+-1% accuracy), ensuring reliable charging performance and improved battery lifespan. With support for USB and wall adapter inputs, this device fits neatly into low-cost, space-constrained designs.
A key differentiator of the TP4055 is its built-in reverse battery protection and power supply reverse connection protection, removing the need for additional external protection components.
