The TLV62568DBVR is a compact, high-efficiency 1A synchronous buck DC-DC converter optimized for low power consumption and small solution size. Operating from an input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V, this device is ideal for battery-powered, portable, and low-voltage industrial applications. The integrated low RDS(on) switches (150mohm/100mohm) ensure high conversion efficiency of up to 95%, reducing heat generation and power loss. At medium to heavy loads, the TLV62568 operates in Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) mode with a fixed 1.5MHz switching frequency, enabling the use of small inductors and capacitors. Under light-load conditions, it automatically transitions to Power Save Mode (PSM) to maintain high efficiency across the full load range. The 100% duty cycle operation ensures the lowest possible dropout voltage for applications requiring maximum energy utilization. The converter features an adjustable output voltage (0.6V to VIN) using an external resistor divider, and includes built-in soft start, power good output, overcurrent protection, and thermal shutdown. In shutdown mode, the current consumption drops below 2uA, further extending battery life. Available in a space-efficient SOT-23-5 package, the TLV62568DBVR provides an excellent balance of performance, simplicity, and size.
