Description

The TL431Z is a series of three-terminal adjustable regulators known for their guaranteed thermal stability across a range of temperatures. The output voltage of these devices can be set to a value between 2.5 volts (Vref) and 40 volts by using two external resistors. They boast a low dynamic output impedance of 0.2Ohm and feature active output circuitry for a sharp turn-on response, making them a superior alternative to zener diodes in various applications.
