The TL431BCDBZR is a precision three-terminal adjustable shunt voltage reference IC designed for accurate voltage regulation in analogue and power management circuits. The output voltage can be programmed from approximately 2.5V to 36V using two external resistors, making it a flexible and reliable replacement for conventional Zener diodes in modern designs that demand tighter tolerance and improved stability.
With a typical dynamic output impedance of 0.2ohm and a sharp turn-on characteristic, the TL431BCDBZR delivers predictable and stable regulation performance across varying load conditions. The B-grade accuracy (+-0.5% at 25 C) ensures better precision compared to standard-grade devices, making it suitable for SMPS feedback loops, on-board regulation, adjustable power supplies, voltage monitoring, and battery management circuits.
