The TJA1044V High-Speed CAN Transceiver from the Mantis family is a premium solution engineered for seamless Controller Area Network (CAN) communication in automotive environments. Designed to bridge the gap between a CAN protocol controller and the physical two-wire CAN bus, the TJA1044V ensures high reliability and efficiency under demanding automotive conditions. This device stands out with its exceptional electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance and robust design tailored for 12 V automotive systems. It supports differential transmit and receive operations, making it ideal for integrating microcontrollers equipped with CAN protocol controllers.
Enhanced beyond earlier generations like the TJA1040 and TJA1042, the TJA1044V is built to meet the stringent requirements of modern vehicles. Offering improved EMC even without a common mode choke and featuring low standby current with bus wake-up capability, it ensures lower energy consumption and superior performance. Variants equipped with a VIO pin provide direct compatibility with microcontrollers operating at supply voltages between 3.3 V and 5 V, delivering maximum flexibility for system designers.
