Please note that the expansion shield described below is exclusively compatible with the FireBeetle 2 ESP32-E IoT Microcontroller, which supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
This expansion shield is designed specifically for makers who prefer using terminal blocks to wire their projects. It offers several advantages over previous FireBeetle shields. Firstly, it includes a 7-24V external voltage input and a GDI port, expanding the range of power options available. Additionally, it employs terminal blocks to secure wires, ensuring more stable and reliable connections. Each terminal block, except for GND, is equipped with an LED for status indication. However, since these LEDs consume power and result in increased power consumption, the board incorporates an LED switch. This switch allows users to turn off the LEDs when they are not needed, effectively reducing power consumption.
