Description

The STM8S103F2/x3 access line 8-bit microcontrollers have 8 Kbytes of Flash program memory and an inbuilt true data EEPROM. The STM8S microcontroller family reference manual (RM0016) refers to these devices as low-density. They provide the following advantages: performance, robustness, and lower system costs.

Advanced core and peripherals developed with cutting-edge technology provide device performance and resilience, as does a 16 MHz clock frequency, resilient I/Os, independent watchdogs with distinct clock sources, and a clock security system.

The system cost is minimized by an integrated real data EEPROM with up to 300,000 write/erase cycles and a high level of system integration with internal clock oscillators, watchdog, and brownout reset.
