Description

The STM32L051x6/8 microcontrollers from STMicroelectronics are part of the access line ultra-low-power series, featuring a high-performance Arm Cortex-M0+ 32-bit RISC core operating at a frequency of 32 MHz. These microcontrollers also come with a memory protection unit (MPU) and high-speed embedded memories, including 64 Kbytes of Flash program memory, 2 Kbytes of data EEPROM, and 8 Kbytes of RAM, along with a comprehensive set of enhanced I/Os and peripherals.

Designed for high power efficiency, the STM32L051x6/8 devices offer a wide range of internal and external clock sources, internal voltage adaptation, and multiple low-power modes to optimize energy consumption. These microcontrollers also boast various analog features, including a 12-bit ADC with hardware oversampling, two ultra-low-power comparators, multiple timers (including a low-power timer and general-purpose 16-bit timers), one RTC, and one SysTick timer that can be used as timebases. Additionally, two watchdogs provide additional safety and reliability, with one watchdog featuring independent clock and window capability, and another based on the bus clock for precise monitoring.
