The SparkFun GNSS Receiver – SAM-M8Q (Qwiic) is a compact, high-performance satellite navigation module designed for reliable and accurate positioning in embedded and IoT applications. Built around the u-blox SAM-M8Q GNSS receiver, it supports multiple global constellations and SBAS augmentation systems to improve accuracy, availability, and fix times. The board integrates Qwiic connectors for solder-free I2C connectivity, along with USB-C and UART interfaces, making it suitable for rapid prototyping, robotics, asset tracking, drones, timing applications, and location-aware systems. Its small 25.4 mm square form factor with mounting holes enables easy integration into space-constrained designs.
