Description

This dual buffer and line driver is rated for 1.65- to 5.5-volt VCC operation. The SN74LVC2G241 chip is specifically intended to improve the performance and density of 3-state memory-address drivers, clock drivers, and bus-oriented receivers and transmitters. NanoFree package technology is a significant advancement in IC packaging designs that uses the die as the package. The SN74LVC2G241 device consists of two 1-bit line drivers with distinct output-enable (1OE, 2OE) inputs. When 1OE is low and 2OE is high, the device routes data from the A inputs to the Y outputs. When 1OE is high and 2OE is low, the outputs are in the high impedance mode. To maintain the high-impedance condition during power-up or power-down, connect OE to VCC via a pullup resistor and connect OE to GND via a pulldown resistor; the minimum resistor value is controlled by the driver's current-sinking or current-sourcing capacity. This device is completely specified for Ioff-enabled partial power-down applications. When the device is turned off, the Ioff circuitry shuts the outputs to prevent damaging current backflow via it.
