The PAM2423AECADJR is a high-efficiency, high-current boost (step-up) switching regulator IC designed for compact, high-performance power supply applications. This device integrates a powerful 24V internal MOSFET capable of handling up to 5.5A peak current, providing robust performance for demanding loads. Operating on a fixed-frequency, current-mode PWM architecture at 520 kHz, it offers superior transient response, excellent load regulation, and simplified compensation design for a wide range of output voltages up to 24V.

The PAM2423 features an externally programmable soft-start function that minimizes inrush current during power-up, ensuring safe and controlled startup. It also includes multiple protection mechanisms such as overvoltage protection (OVP), cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown, and undervoltage lockout (UVLO) for reliable operation under all conditions.
