This outside Solar Power Kit is a compact, weather-resistant energy solution designed for outside monitoring systems that work with IoT platforms including LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, and 4G/5G gateways. Designed for off-grid applications, it charges lithium batteries using a 10W monocrystalline solar panel, providing reliable 12V and 5V outputs for a variety of electrical devices such as Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and industrial sensor nodes. By combining sophisticated charging control with tough protection, this kit enables dependable operation in distant or harsh settings when grid power is unavailable. It is best suited for environmental monitoring, precision agriculture, and unattended outdoor sensing in smart city, wildlife tracking, and remote infrastructure management applications.
Dual Output Voltages for Broad Device Compatibility
The system has two regulated DC outputs, 12V/1A and 5V/1A. This permits the simultaneous operation of industrial-grade sensors, low-voltage controllers, and IoT modules. It supports both standard 5V electronics and higher-powered 12V devices, making deployment across multiple projects easier without the need for additional converters.
Plug-and-Play Setup with Robust Waterproof Design
All electronics are enclosed in a sealed waterproof shell with IP-rated protection. To begin functioning, users simply install three 18650 lithium batteries. The enclosure has pre-drilled mounting lugs for a secure fit on poles, walls, or outside fixtures. The system is designed for quick setup and long-term durability in outdoor applications.
Efficient Solar Charging and Long Battery Life
A high-efficiency 10W solar panel ensures fast energy replenishment, capable of fully charging the batteries in approximately 8 hours under strong sunlight. The solar controller supports the installation of three 18650 lithium batteries, delivering extended runtime to support uninterrupted data collection and transmission even during cloudy days or overnight periods.
Intelligent Battery Management System
The integrated charging controller includes essential battery protection mechanisms such as overcharge protection, over-discharge prevention, and cell balancing. These features enhance battery safety, minimize maintenance needs, and extend battery service life, ensuring the system remains functional even in unattended or rugged scenarios.
