The NRF54L15-QFAA-R is a next-generation wireless system-on-chip designed for ultra-low-power IoT and advanced connected devices. Developed by Nordic Semiconductor, this SoC integrates a high-efficiency microcontroller with a powerful 2.4 GHz RF transceiver to deliver reliable wireless communication with low energy consumption. It features 1.5 MB non-volatile memory and 256 KB RAM, enabling developers to implement complex firmware and multi-protocol wireless stacks in a single compact device.
The device supports multiple wireless protocols including Bluetooth Low Energy, Thread, Zigbee, Matter, and proprietary 2.4 GHz communication with data rates up to 4 Mbps, making it ideal for low-latency wireless applications. It also supports advanced features such as Bluetooth Channel Sounding, Bluetooth Mesh networking, and compatibility with Amazon Sidewalk ecosystems. When paired with the nRF70 Series Wi‑Fi Companion ICs, it can enable Wi-Fi connectivity in hybrid wireless designs. The nRF54L15 is pin-to-pin compatible with the nRF54L10 and nRF54L05 devices, providing flexibility for scalable hardware designs across product families.
