The Argon is a powerful Wi-Fi enabled development kit that can act as either a standalone Wi-Fi endpoint or Wi-Fi enabled gateway for Particle Mesh networks. It is based on the Nordic nRF52840 and has built-in battery charging circuitry so it’s easy to connect a Li-Po and deploy your local network in minutes. The Argon is great for connecting projects to the Particle Device Cloud or as a gateway to connect an entire group of local endpoints. It's everything you love about the Photon, with more features like Bluetooth and mesh networking.
Q: What are the key features of the Argon Kit?
A: The Argon Kit features the nRF52840 microcontroller for processing and the ESP32-D0WD module for 2.4G Wi-Fi connectivity. It also has built-in battery charging circuitry, making it suitable for IoT applications. It offers various interfaces like GPIO, UART, I2C, and SPI for connecting sensors and other peripherals.
Q: Can the Argon Kit be used as a standalone Wi-Fi endpoint or a Wi-Fi gateway for Particle Mesh networks?
A: Yes, the Argon Kit can function as both a standalone Wi-Fi endpoint and a Wi-Fi enabled gateway for Particle Mesh networks, providing flexibility for different IoT project setups.
Q: Does the Argon Kit support Bluetooth connectivity?
A: Yes, the Argon Kit supports Bluetooth connectivity, in addition to Wi-Fi, expanding its communication capabilities.
Q: What is the power source for the Argon Kit?
A: The Argon Kit can be powered through its built-in battery charging circuitry using a Li-Po battery. It also has a micro USB port for power and programming.
Q: What software and tools are required to use the Argon Kit?
