The M24C64-RMN6P from STMicroelectronics is a high-reliability 64Kbit (8 KByte) serial EEPROM designed for advanced data storage in industrial, automotive, and embedded systems. It features an I2C-compatible serial interface supporting 1 MHz Fast Mode Plus, 400 kHz Fast Mode, and 100 kHz Standard Mode, enabling seamless integration into a wide range of microcontroller-based applications. With a supply voltage range from 1.7V to 5.5V (or 1.6V to 5.5V for 0 C to+85C operation), it ensures stable and energy-efficient performance across varied environmental conditions.

The memory is organized in 32-byte pages, allowing both byte and page write operations within a 5 ms self-timed write cycle. An optional write-lockable identification page (available in M24C64-D versions) provides secure storage for system parameters or serial numbers that can be permanently protected from further modification. Engineered for long-term reliability, the EEPROM guarantees over 4 million write cycles per memory cell and more than 200 years of data retention. It also includes hardware write protection, enhanced ESD and latch-up immunity, and random/sequential read modes for flexible data access. Compact, low-power, and dependable, the M24C64-RMN6P is ideal for use in data logging, configuration storage, industrial automation, communication systems, and consumer electronics.
