The LM5163DDAR from Texas Instruments is a SIMPLE SWITCHER synchronous step-down converter capable of delivering up to 2A continuous output current from a wide 4.5V to 65V input range. Designed for industrial, factory automation, and 24V power systems, it offers excellent efficiency and low standby power consumption.

With a 400kHz fixed switching frequency, the device enables compact solutions using small inductors and capacitors. The ultra-low 28uA quiescent current and PFM operation make it ideal for always-on and low-power systems. Integrated high- and low-side MOSFETs, hiccup mode short-circuit protection, and adjustable soft-start ensure reliability in harsh environments.
